Luxembourg RDF is registered and branded Hanoverian gelding. He will make an amazing
jumper amateur friendly prospect. At his inspection the judges remarked at his correctness, typeiness and
modern build with big jump. He has a beautiful free swinging trot and uphill cantor with a powerful hind end. He will make an amazing amateur or professionals ride. Luxe's impressive pedrigree lines contain some of the best jumper blood: Landgraf, Gotthard, Furioso on the sires side and on his dams side Grannus, Domspatz, Bold Ruler, Servus. As a coming 3 year old he continues to display his patient, focused demeanor with a willingness to work just like both dam and sire.
Both sire and dam is in the AHS jumper breeding program. His sire is Lagoheidor. Lagoheidor is a rare combination – having won both his Keuring and Stallion Performance Test, competed successfully at international FEI show jumping and FEI dressage, and produces international FEI jumping and dressage offspring. He is a full brother to the renowned jumper sire Landor S and Landwerder. He was the 1994 Oldenburg Licensing Champion and winner of the 1995 Stallion Performance Test Champion in Medingen.
Luxembourg's dam Genre R is an elite mare in the jumper breeding program. She herself competed to 1.20m jumpers schooling to 1.30 with room to go higher and was ridden by both amateurs and professionals before breeding. She still activly competes off and on and is still sound with no maintenance at 15. Genre R is by Grandom x Kalypso and has some of the best jumper blood in hanoverian lines: Grannus, Domspatz, Bold Ruler, Servus. Grandom is a solid producer of grandprix offspring in both jumpers and dressage. As well as producing derby hunters. Genre R was bred by Edgar schutte who is one of the top hanoverian breeders in the U.S.A. The G line produces amateur friendly brains with upper level abilities and a strong work ethic.
