Her sire is Thor who is out of Astrachan. Astrachan is one of the finest purebred Akhal-Teke stallions in North America. He is the prime example of Akhal-Teke type, temperament and fluid gaits. He was the Number One Ranked Elite purebred stallion in North America in both the 1999 and 2002 ATAA gradings. He has proven himself on the endurance trail, with over 485 AERC miles with Jas Shearer-McMahon. He and Jas participated in the 2001 2001 mile XP ride and he finished stronger than he started.
Her damsire Gigant was an imported upper level jumper stallion from Russia.
Her dam line via Khrizantima's grand damsire is Absent a multi Olympic dressage stallion gold medalist and his sire was a Puissance level jumper. Her dam lines are out of Absent, the multiple Olympic dressage gold medalist which competed in 1960, 1964 and 1968. Absent is said to be also talented for jumping. Absent's sire, Arab, who was raced and later won one of the most important showjumping competitions of East Europe, "The Cup of the Soviet Union" in 1949. In the same year Arab broke the high jump national record and improved it to 2.19 m.

Hobella is a dual registered ATAA(usa) & VNIIK/MAAK (Russia) 2009 Akhal-Teke buckskin mare. She is actively showing in rated shows in hunters and jumpers. She is approved Oldenburg GOV. She has a loving disposition and a willingness to please her rider that makes her the envy of the barn. This mare has speed, agility, and natural form. She will jump the moon for her rider! She produced a large, very correct filly by Bugatti hilltop in march 2017 and returned back in the show ring for the 2019/2020 show seasons in 1.15m jumpers with her grand prix riders giovanni principe and andras szeiberth in florida. She returned in 2020 due to covid shutting down the show circuit (terrible timing). She continued to compete in the local show circuit in 2020 thru 2021when she sustained an injury in 2021 making her light riding sound ending her career as a jumper.
