Genre R is in the AHS Jumping Breeder Program. Genré R was top Mare at her MPT in 2011 scoring a 8.5 on technique, 8 on ability, and 8.25 overall. With an impressive 8.5 in jumping, she completing her Elite Mare requirement with her first registered Hanoverian colt, Van Buren WS (Viva Voltaire) bred by Walkabout Station. Genre R went on to train in Florida and returned home to Texas, being trained and shown by Jessica Sims at Pin Oak at Great Southwest Equestrian Center. This partnership earned money in 2 out of 3 classes in her first 1.10m class at which time she returned to breeding. Genre R proved to be a reliable winner in the speed rounds with potential to jump higher.

She had a second foal in 2016 a filly, Qarismah WS ( Quite Easy) also bred by Walkabout Station. Genre R continues to love the show ring and proves she is a seasoned well mannered mare currently showing under amateur riders at rated shows in the High Adult Amateurs / 1.15m jumpers. She is beginner child friendly and has scope for professional riders as well. Genre R welcomed her third foal, a colt Luxembourg RDF (Lagoheidor) in 2018. In may of 2019 genie had her 4th foal, a colt by Diarado.

The Hanoverian G-line is always a guarantee for performance ability, especially for outstanding jumping power. Genre R Sire Grandom is the only Elite Hanoverian Grannus son in the U.S. He is fully licensed and approved for breeding by The American Hanoverian Society, The German Hanoverian Verband (AHS & VhW) Oldenburg/ISR and the Belgium Warmblood Paardenstamboek (BWP) Grandom was licensed and stood several years in Belgium before moving to Hanover. Grandom was approved for breeding based on performance and was shown and bred at the same time while in Belgium. Grandom has won and placed in the Modified Division Champion at Santa Rosa, Modified division res. Champion at Rancho Murieta, Winner Carousel Medal and res. Almaden Medal at Rancho Murieta. Besides wins over fences Grandom was winning and placing in hunter U/S classes. (Oct 2001). The BWP evaluated about 50 of his foals, yearlings and two-year-olds. The report states that his offspring are very uniform, even though they were out of a large variety of mares. They have beautiful front ends, nice round top lines, excellent shoulder angles and very good usage of the hind end. They were well behaved and easy to handle. Several of his offspring have been sold internationally. Besides talented jumping horses, Grandom produces hunters. He has a very even jumping style and a nice ground-covering trot, from the shoulder, with little knee and hock action.

Grandom's sire Grannus is one of the most important and prolific jumping sires of our time.  His offspring have earned over 5 million euro in competition and competed in multiple Olympics.  Also of note Grannus has sired 60 approved sons.  Grannus’s dam is of Trakhner descent and carries with her the blood of Gotthard and the foundation mare Klaseta.  Odessa successfully foaled 15 times having her last foal at the age of 22.

Her Dam sire Kalypso was a stallion of very modern type by the Stakes-winning European Thoroughbred Kronenkranich xx, a descendant of Bold Ruler xx. He was approved for breeding by both AHS and Oldenburg/ISR. Excellent jumping ability is delivered through the blood of Ferdinand, Grande and the incredible likes of Servus himself on the bottom side of the pedigree through Guter Fang. Kalypso was able to stamp his modern type on traditional warmblood mares while maintaining substance and bone. Notable Kalypso offspring include the elite Hanoverian Mare, Kharisma, who sold as a two-year-old for $26,000 at a Glenwood Auction in 1993.
